it had moments i didn’t hate, but it wasn’t that great. I liked that the “love” was sisterly love and they didn’t have to shoe-horn in like a perfect boy for her kind of thing. and olaf was cute.
haha I just found it odd that they completely nullified the “you don’t need a man argument” by having two entire songs about “get married” one of which was more than unnecessary. I wanted to burn olaf to the ground. Though I did like the animation of Sven when he wasn’t acting like a dog. Whoever did those scenes did a lovely job.
dbowkercreative said: fair enough. Out of the modern princess ones, from tangled/princess and the frog up to frozen, I think it’s actually my favourite and I’ve liked them all to some degree. It’s rare that I dislike animated disney though tbh so i’m not the best judge
Yeah, I’ve been getting more and more disillusioned with them as a company lately and probably more critical than I should be about their movies.
awh :(, I’m a fan……but people like horror films and I couldn’t give a shit about them so taste is relative
It was plot issues for the most part, it felt really all over the place. In a very similar way to brave, it was like they just couldn’t figure out what they wanted the story to be about….aaaahhh I started writing a thing and I really don’t want to write a thing :) I guess I just have come to expect more of Disney. But I am stoked for Shaun the Sheep and The Boxtrolls by Aardman and Laika respectively.
